STEP OUT OF YOUR CLUB

In order to get the full benefits of being a Toastmaster, we encourage you to go to an event that the District, Division, Area, another Club, or Toastmaster is offering in your community.

If you venture out of the boundaries of your club, you will gain so many benefits such as:

  • Building relationship building skills when you meet new people
  • Learning from the experience and skills of others which you can take back to your own club
  • Develop your personal skills by attending the event
  • Develop your self-confidence when you meet a new Toastmaster and they accept you without hesitations, and
  • Have fun while learning and experiencing something new!

Here is a challenge for you: step out of your club once every new season (summer, fall, winter, and spring).

Here are some suggestions for you on how to seize the opportunites to step out and seize the opportunities to grow:

Seek out the opportunity to grow and seize a richer life,

John Frederick
